Hello and Welcome to Homemaking Joyfully!
I’m Laura and I am the proud wife of Michael and am blessed to be the mommy of Jacob (2004), Eli (2006) and Rachael (2008). Michael is a Senior Master Sergeant in the US Air Force and we are currently calling Anchorage, Alaska home!
Several years ago God really convicted us to make me staying home to raise our children a priority. I am proud to say that 8 years ago we took that step and I am a domestic mama to our three precious treasures!
In 2009, we began our homeschooling journey and are currently in our sixth year. Through homeschooling we are able to be more involved in developing and shaping our childrens’ hearts and who they will become as men and women of God. It is seldom an easy road, but we feel that it is incredibly important for us to teach our children in this manner.
I currently spend my time refining my homemaking skills, homeschooling (currently 5th, 3rd, and 1st grades), learning/researching natural and whole food living, exploring the world of Young Living essential oils, crocheting, spending time with my family, and learning how to live a more Christ centered life while teaching our children this same lifestyle.
I hope you have learned a little more about my family and my focus. I’d love it if you’d stay for a while and explore a little around Homemaking Joyfully!
Blessings,
Laura
I can be reached at homemakingjoyfully(at)gmail(dot)com and would love to hear from you!

Wow! I didn’t realize that your spouse is in the Air Force too.
My husband Tom is also in the Air Force and we are stationed at Mountain Home Airforce Base in Idaho. We have three children 14,
12, and 7. Two girls and one boy. We homeschool too.
Many blessings to you and your family!
Maybe the Air Force will cause our paths to cross one day. 🙂
