What do you keep in your vehicle – I mean, besides carseats and snacks??
Keeping a well stocked vehicle can save you a lot of trouble in a variety of situations.
Ever had a child throw up on themselves or wet their pants while you were out in public? What about getting stuck in a torrential rain storm without an umbrella?
I have some ideas to help you out!
We drive a Dodge Caravan, have 3 kids all in carseats or boosters and do not have the version with in-floor storage or any special bells and whistles.
Here’s a little video I made showing you what I have and how I keep it all packed to save space and still have room for groceries and/or whatever additional bags/supplies we are carrying around specific to the outing we’re on. (Please note that it was approximately 1,275 degrees when I recorded this and I was inside my garage – where there’s no a/c – and I look a sweaty mess.)
I realized after editing this that there’s actually something missing from that pink basket – baby wipes. I always have those, even when the kids aren’t with me, because you just never know when you’re going to need one.
As promised, here is the link for my post on traveling with a potty trained(ing) toddler.
And here’s another link, if you’re interested in the Red Cross survival/emergency backpack I showed you.
Do you have any special items you make sure to keep in your vehicle? Am I missing any must have’s?
