I woke up this morning as the mother of a seven year old.
That was the sound of me fainting….
Kidding aside, it really is astonishing that my dear, sweet first born is seven now.
There are times when it seems like it really has been seven years and then there are times when it seems to have passed in a flash.
Jacob is one of the sweetest boys a person will meet. His heart is so full of kindness and love for others. He’s a definite helper at home and absolutely loves to take care of his younger brother and sister.
He’s a very eager student and learning to read (and doing it very well) has been his most proud accomplishment so far. Now, he reads to Eli and Rachael any chance he gets. Sights like this melt my mama heart.
I am so proud to be his mom and absolutely grateful that God has given me the opportunity to parent such a wonderful soul.
I pray that I am able to be the mom he needs and shepherd his heart into becoming the man that God has planned for him.
Happy Birthday my sweet Jacob.
