Ever wondered how to serve sauces, dips or syrups to small children without creating a huge mess all over them and the table?
I have a solution for you!
I found these small, 3 ounce dishes at Walmart a couple of years ago. I think I spent about $2 for 6 of them and they have been incredibly helpful. They really are the perfect size for little ones, but I like to use them too!
I use them for a variety of things.
~ Sauces such as Ranch dressing, ketchup and barbeque eaten with finger foods
~ Dips such as peanut butter, yogurt, salsa and guacamole
~ Syrups for pancakes and waffles (just dip each bite) – this also helps tremendously with portion control and waste since pure maple syrup is so expensive.
What about you? Have you ever tried this method? I would love to hear if you have any additional uses for these little ramekin style dishes.
