“Mama, come me” she says as she tugs on my arm, pulling me toward the stairs.

“Baby deeping*” she says as she gently pats her baby. Yes, that’s a dish towel.
“Bankie, baby, mama?” She says, asking me to get her a real blanket for her baby. I dig out a flat fold cloth diaper that is the perfect size.
“Rocky baby, tree top” she sings as she sways, rocking her baby to sleep!
Very next day as I’m sitting at the computer – “Mama, no puter, take picture baby” as she tugs me along again.
“See, baby deep* – SHHHHH.”
She has such a nurturing mama heart. It pleases me so to see this in my only little girl! I have big dreams for this little one (the others also, but they’re boys and the big dreams are different).
I pray that my actions as her mother, her nurturer, here on earth are pleasing to my Father.
* I’m sure you could figure it out, but the words were sleeping and sleep!!

That is so sweet! Reading this really makes me look forward to the day that my little girl will start talking and playing with her own baby dolls.
