Have you read my first review of the Grocery University audio series? If not, you should!!!
Grocery University is a “2 hour 19 minute audio course (MP3) that will teach you everything you need to know about making the most of your grocery budget – regardless of whether you’re new to bargain shopping or have been a super-shopper for years.”
It also includes a 40 page workbook (PDF) and a rock bottom price list!
My last post about Grocery University was in July and since then, I’ve had the opportunity to implement many of the practices Carrie teaches. I have been incredibly impressed at how easy it was to make these changes.
I decided that I didn’t want to try to lower my grocery budget, but wanted to maximize the amount I was spending. I am now buying at least double the amount of fresh produce I was previously purchasing. I’m using some of this extra as stockpile (freezing berries, canning jam and pickles, etc.) and we are eating tons more fresh food in place of prepared snacks. I am also able to stockpile much more of the packaged items we do regularly use – tuna, baking supplies, jar sauces, canned goods and pasta, plus toiletries like deoderant, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner and shave gel.
I am stretching our dollars so much further. It feels wonderful! I know that if there aren’t any super deals going on at the stores in which I typically shop, I can usually make a meal plan and need to purchase minimal items to be able to make the meals on my plan. I have much more choice in my pantry and freezers now!!
I am hooked! Carrie does a superb job teaching this incredibly informative course and I have learned so much from the course that I recommend it to everyone I know – including YOU!
Here’s the best part! For today only (Monday, September 20 until midnight PDT) you can purchase Grocery University for only $10. It is regularly $24.95. $10 is a steal!
Why are you still here? You should be over there purchasing your copy right now!
