I’m not kidding! My kitchen sinks are amazing and can do all sorts of tricks!
They look just like regular ol’ innocent sinks, huh? Well, let me show you a few nifty things about these beauties!
First off, they’re enameled cast iron, rather than the standard stainless steel – so they’re pretty!
Can you see that? They are NINE inches deep. In contrast, an old school stainless steel set is six inches deep.
But, the best magic trick of all is that all of these dishes . . .
. . . can fit into one side of the sink when space is limited.
I love that when I have dinner guests or company shortly after dinner, I don’t feel the need to run around like a crazy lady trying to get dishes done. I can pile them all in the sinks and they seem to disappear, at least until it’s time to take care of them.
This is one of the biggest things I’m going to miss about this house when we move – seriously. In Turkey, since we are required to live on base, it will be a get-what-you-get-and-don’t-throw-a-fit kind of house. Based on what I’ve read, the houses are older and smaller, which I’m sure means, the kitchen sink will be a standard, shallow stainless steel one. I’m sure I will learn to cope, but I’ve seen greener pastures and it might not be easy! Clearly, I’m spoiled!

Have you been reading Pinkalicious? He mommy says that to her:)
Anyway, I had sinks like this at my old house and loved them too. Great for baby baths as well.

Ha! That saying is something one of my kids picked up at preschool!
I completely forgot, but it was good for baby baths when my youngest was little. She’s too big now, she’d just jump out!
We are in teh market for a new kitchen sink. I love everything about ours except taht it is a cheapo fiberglass that hs stain all over it and now cracks from where we used bleach to try to get the stains out.
A porcelin finish would be awesome.
WOW! Those are big sinks!
